Bistro on Bridge

Bistro on Bridge is all new and is now one of our favorite restaurants in Phoenixville and we eat there often … and, so does everyone else in town as you can see from the photo below. Our favorites (so far) have been the small plate pork belly, the duck nachos, the pork belly grilled cheese, the pesto chicken sandwich, and the smoked gouda burger.  Their raspberry and peach sangria is also a favorite! Visit their website to view their menu and current hours.

The Analog Room

On top of Bistro on Bridge, The Analog Room features retro arcade games, an indoor fireplace, vintage cocktails, a vast assortment of canned beer and a rooftop beer garden overlooking the heart of downtown Phoenixville. It was really neat watching them build it out, especially when they brought in a crane to haul up the bus!

Here is what one of their patron’s had to say on Facebook:

“Who doesn’t love a rooftop beer garden on a beautiful day or evening? What makes it better are the long German beer hall style tables where you can fall into casual conversation with someone new. I personally like to snag the Half Acre Pony from the stellar craft can choices and head back to play the quarter arcade games that take me back to childhood.” ~ Annette Musloski

If you only plan to visit one restaurant in Phoenixville, it is our opinion that this one is it! Bistro and The Analog room definitely have that ‘Phoenixville vibe’ that you are searching for!

Our Review

During our second visit to Phoenixville in late March 2017, after looking at a house that we fell in love with and have decided to rent, we decided to walk down to Bridge Street and find a spot to have lunch. We decided on Bistro on Bridge as there were people dining outside on the sidewalk (some with their dogs leashed by their side) and it looked inviting. We did decide to eat indoors though because it was a little chilly.

For starters, we had the Crab and Shrimp Balls and they were very tasty. Chuck had the Grilled Vegetable Panini and he said it was REAAAL GOOOD. I had a Burger and a DogFish Head beer [#BistroKnowsBeer], and both were delicious. I am not sure where the Mediterranean-influence is, so I will have to be on the lookout for that next time.

Update July 2018: Bistro is all new and better than ever! While the food, drinks, service, and location have always been good, the atmosphere is completely changed … and the change is 100% for the better! It has a very fun vibe that we think really represents Phoenixville well. We have updated our star-rating to reflect the changes!

If you have never been to Phoenixville and really want to get a feel for what it is all about, this is the place to go. Be sure to leave your star rating below and give this page a share on social.
